The Borsuk-Ulam Explorer

We plan to put more advanced versions of the Borsuk-Ulam Explorer here eventually. For now...

In case you are curious, the Borsuk-Ulam points here are calculated by numerically minimizing the ''energy'' by which we mean the sum of the square of the difference of the temperature and pressure at antipodal points. This only gives an approximation, but it is a really good one (the points found have an energy which is 0 up to about 10 decimal places). It should also be possible to get an exact answer through a brute force technique (which will have the advantage of giving all the Bosruk-Ulam pairs) and writing that is on the to do list.

If anybody with mathematical/scientific background is willing to translate the blurb text into their own language it would be welcome -- please get in touch
